When you enter, you are greeted as soon as they see you. Ordering is easy. They take cash or all kinds of cards. Their menu used to be quite large, but it looks like it is back to being basic. The food is greatly priced for the delicious well-made stuff. I like ordering and getting the bbq ribs plate and a whole chicken by itself. The food is very good and very satisfying. Inside seating area is large, plenty of space.
Saw and smelled the smoke from their outdoor grill. Bought a whole chicken and loved every flavorful bite. Great homemade salsa as well :)
Hot damn! $8.65 for 2 piece plate. Got coleslaw and beans.... Worth every penny. The chicken tasted fresh off the grill
As good as it was on our first visit 5 years ago. Drove an hour through LA to visit again. The chicken is amazing.
I've been spying to this spot via yelp for a month now and today I finally got my lazy butt to drive over here. It was a little odd how the parking lot is way in the back. When you come in it's pretty empty maybe they have more customers later in the evening time. When we came in we wanted the grilled wings we saw in the pictures. The lady told me no they don't have that. I showed her the pictures and told her i would pay for it if they can give me just wings. She was super nice and pulled some strings. They guy grilling outside was also super nice. Thank you for catering to my wishes lol. I will def come back here. The flavor is amazing and I love the fire grilled taste
Wow, I discovered this place by accident cuz I had the intention of dining in a nearby restaurant but it was closed. Since I was already very hungry, I decided to give this place a try and I was glad I did. Definitely a hole in the wall in this part of NoHo, this place has minimal decorations and a few tables and chairs for dining customers. I ordered three tacos, asada, pollo and pastor. I loved each one of them. Definitely tasted very authentic, I thought for a second I was in Mexico. I'm hoping to drop by again soon cuz I want to try the charbroiled chicken which looks like is the specialty here.
They have the best gorditas around! It's been a min since I've been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!
